App Update Guide: Reinstallation Steps

To ensure the new version works correctly, follow these steps to uninstall the old version, remove the old file, and install the update.

  1. Uninstall the Current App
    Find the app icon on your phone. Long-press the icon and select Uninstall (or drag it to the trash icon). Confirm you want to uninstall the app.
  2. Delete the Old APK File
    Open your phone's Downloads folder or File Manager. Locate the old .apk file (usually named app-release.apk or similar) and delete it to prevent installing the wrong version.
  3. Download the New APK
    Click the button below to download the latest version.
  4. Install the New Version
    Once downloaded, open the file and tap Install. If Android prompts that the file may be harmful or asks to allow installations from unknown sources, select Install Anyway or allow the permission to proceed.
